Below are the resources we have provided for home learning.
Home Learning Resources -Secondary
To support our pupils that are self isolating we have prepared online resource areas for home learning. These can be accessed through the pupils Office 365 accounts.
Once a pupil has logged on, in their email inbox they will find a series of links to subjects ‘Class Notebooks’. These will provide instructions from the teacher and the resources required to complete the work set.
Below is a guidance document to access the Office 365 area and the Class Notebooks. Most pupils will be familiar with this system already as it is widely used in the school.
We will also be trialling ‘virtual lessons’ through the Microsoft Teams App. This will allow teachers to live stream a lesson to pupils that are able to join the presentation. We will email details when these lessons are going to take place. It will require a bit of technical knowhow but should be relatively straight forward. There is a guide below to walk you through how to set this up.
The timetable for all virtual lessons can be downloaded below. All virtual lessons will take place at 10 am.
There is a suggested timetable of lessons (see below) and teachers will be available via email from 9 – 12.
Home Learning Resources – Primary
At our Primary, we have created a work pack for pupils which will enable them to continue their learning at home. Included within this pack is a variety of educational activities such as; a Maths Activity Booklet, an English Activity Booklet, Easter Activities and activities relating to our current whole school topic- The Human Body. These educational activities have been chosen by the Primary Teachers at Bridge House and are tailored to each class. There are some activities which will consolidate learning and act as revision of key concepts while other activities focus on new learning and skills. Alongside these we have included a suggested timetable of the day which is similar to the daily routine at school, a list of suggested educational websites and apps, sensory ideas which can be facilitated at home and a grid of extra activities and learning opportunities.
